What We Collect
Deep Dive Central collects limited information to operate and improve the site:
- Analytics data — pages visited, time on page, device/browser type, and approximate location, via Google Analytics (once connected).
- Advertising data — once Google AdSense is approved and live, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and personalize ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings.
- Affiliate tracking — links to Amazon, Flipkart, and other retailers use tracking cookies/parameters (via the retailer or an affiliate network) so we can be credited for referred purchases. We don't see your payment details.
- Visitor counts — we count unique visitors per day. Your IP address is not stored: it is combined with a secret value and converted into a one-way hash the moment your request arrives, and only that hash is written to our database. It lets us tell two visitors apart on a given day and cannot be turned back into your IP address or used to identify you. No pages you viewed, no session history, and no profile are attached to it.
- Newsletter email address — only if you enter it in the subscribe form. It is stored with Mailchimp, our email provider, and used solely to send you our own articles. We never sell or rent it, and we don't use it for advertising. We use confirmed opt-in, so nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link; every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you immediately. You can also ask us to remove you by email.
- Contact information — only if you email us directly.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for analytics, advertising (once AdSense is live), and affiliate link tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as intended without them.

- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Third Parties
We share data with the service providers above (Google Analytics, Google AdSense, affiliate networks) strictly to the extent needed for analytics, advertising, and commission tracking. We do not sell your personal data.
Children's Privacy
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
Your Rights
You can request details of what data we hold about you, or request deletion, by emailing deepdivecentral9@gmail.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law (e.g., India's DPDP Act).
Changes
We may update this policy as the site adds features (e.g., AdSense approval, a newsletter). Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date above.
